“About 13 weeks ago I was scrolling through Instagram when an interesting advertisement caught my eye. A wellness program for busy fathers. At that point, I was hovering around 96kg, was eating and snacking on all the wrong foods, not getting nearly enough exercise, drinking too much and disconnecting from my family. As an owner of a business and with COVID affecting us, I found that as a convenient excuse for not looking after myself. Anyway, something about Hero resonated with me. I didn’t think twice and placed an online enquiry. Dan got back to me almost immediately and within a day or so we made contact by phone.
Thirteen weeks later I’m down to 88kg, eating as well as I ever have, exercising DAILY, my family life is the best it has been and I am learning to love myself again.
From the moment I started speaking to Dan, I just knew this would be the right fit for me. In that time, the disciplines that I have been able to instil into my life have been all thanks to the program. From drinking a litre of water before work to abstaining from alcohol to increasing vegetables in my diet. These were unique and tailored solutions that were infused into my program. The exercise regime is a slow and steady increase in intensity and I cannot imagine NOT working out every morning. I have been able to make substantial yet sustainable changes to my lifestyle that I was assured would happen if I trusted the process.
Well I did! I can’t remember being this content in my life. I am wearing clothes from 10 years ago and running distances I was running in my 20’s (I’m 47).
I cannot recommend this program enough. It doesn’t make outlandish claims of quick turnarounds or miracle transformations. Simply, you are told to trust the process, to stick with it and the results will come.
BUT, if you are finding yourself in a situation where you may slip into bad habits, the guys are available any time to set you back on track. I have had to use this feature of the program more than once!
The support and advice are inspiring and I always feel pumped after a chat with Dan.
I have now moved into the next phase of the Hero program after the first twelve weeks and I look forward to more success and personal milestones in the near future.”
